Project summary :
The Island of Doctor Moreau is a science fiction novel penned by English author H. G. Wells published in 1896. Narrated by Edward Prendick, a shipwrecked man rescued by a passing boat, the novel focuses on a doctor dedicated to vivisection and explores ideas of evolution and ethics.
I chose an eerie, unnatural color scheme of purple and green to impart the uncomfortable themes the novel explores. The animals blend in and out of the background, a twisted jungle, that encourages the reader to search and discover, a similar approach to how the protagonist is forced to question morality and the evolution of mankind.
